We believe that your dental health is a very important part of your general health. It is important that we offer you the best possible dental care. We consider private dentistry to be the only way to offer adults personal care, tailored to their needs and desires. Most dental problems can be prevented, or the treatment kept simple if diagnosed early. Payment is on a fee per visit basis. We always provide patients with a written estimate for any advised dental treatment.

Denplan Care is the UK’s leading independent preventive dental care programme. With Denplan Care your monthly payments go towards funding your regular appointments with us (laboratory fees excluded). This fixed monthly sum helps you to budget for regular affordable preventive dental care, without the fear of costly and unexpected bills. This includes all the care at our practice with the dentist/hygienist you know and trust. Denplan Care includes supplementary insurance towards the cost of treatment received as a result of dental injuries and emergencies in the UK or abroad.
If you want to join Denplan, just ask any member of staff for details.

Children whose teeth are moderately/severely misaligned are normally eligible for NHS treatment (provided the child has healthy gums and no problems with decay). We would refer you to one of the local Specialist orthodontic practices for an initial assessment and treatment. There is no patient fee for NHS orthodontic treatment.
Private orthodontic treatment ranges in cost from £1,695 – £4,995.
Payment is taken on the same day that treatment is provided. We accept most credit and debit cards.
24 hours cancellation notice is required for routine dental appointments to avoid a cancellation charge. This allows the appointment to be offered to others. In the event of late cancellations, we will try to rebook the clinical time. Giving us notice allows us to offer these appointments to others and the possibility of avoiding these charges.
Missed hygiene appointments will be charged at the full appointment fee. Missed dental appointments will be charged as a percentage of the planned treatment.
Each Whitstable dentist has a small NHS contract with Eastern and Coastal PCT for providing continuing NHS dental care to our regular children and adult patients who are exempt from dental charges and for a small number of fee-paying NHS patients. We encourage parents to register their children with a dentist as soon as their first teeth arrive to promote good dental habits and awareness from an early age.
